How to apply Latisse for eyelash growth

Patients prescribed Latisse will be provided with the full information on uses, application and contraindications of it, and will have the opportunity to consult with a doctor and have all of their questions answered.

Latisse application would begin each night with a thorough cleaning of the face, clearing it of all makeup and debris and removing contact lenses if any are used. Latisse is applied nightly, just before sleeping.

When the face is clean, a single drop of Latisse is applied to a sterile applicator held horizontally. The drop is placed close to, but not directly on, the applicator’s tip. Carefully move the applicator along the skin base of your upper eyelashes, i.e., where your eyelashes meet your skin.

Extreme care is exercised when applying Latisse. The applicator is drawn from the inner part of the lash line to the outer regions, without it touching the eyes.

If caution isn’t exercised, excess hair growth could occur in unwanted areas. If an excess solution is accidently placed, it is blotted out with tissue. Then that day’s first applicator is disposed of. And the process is repeated on the other eyelid with a new sterile applicator.
